Drawing to Decompress

This 60 minute workshop gives an overview of drawing techniques and provides guidance on how to start your own art practice. The workshop will include demonstrations of 3 distinct drawing techniques followed by time for participants to draw their own works. Materials are provided.

Objectives

  • Increase team building

  • Provide quiet time for slowing down and being creative

  • Improve careful observation skills by “slow looking” and drawing

  • Decrease burnout and improve well-being
